Give with Confidence

Our operational expenses are funded by corporations and a handful of large donors and foundations. This allow us to ensure that 100% of your donation goes directly to the programs you selected. Of our total donations broken down between operational and development expenses, 92% of that goes directly to the children. The 8% difference is covered by corporations and foundations partners.

The Foster Care Crisis

There are over 430,000 children in foster care and only 214,421 licensed foster parents. This means foster parents and agencies are often left with limited resources. Foster Love began as a sports camp offering after-school enrichment to foster youth who otherwise could not afford the activity. As the charity grew, we’ve tackled larger problems including access to higher education, emergency resources, and more.

When we look at the future of foster care, Foster Love will continue to make adjustments to address the most urgent needs facing foster youth.

No Trash bags for kids in foster care

When foster children move from home to home, they are usually given two trash bags to carry their belongings in. At Foster Love, we know these children deserve better than that. To help foster kids have more positive experiences, we have volunteers like you decorate, stuff, and donate Sweet Cases all over the United States.

Our Sweet Cases are blue duffle bags stuffed with a teddy bear, a blanket, a hygiene kit, a coloring book, and crayons. Participants can purchase our Sweet Cases to be donated, which directly supports the children in foster care in their areas. Foster Love wants children in foster care to feel like kids, not trash.
