Support Foster Youth with a Magical Day at Disneyland
I get to volunteer at a special day that is both heart-warming and heart-breaking all at once. For my birthday this year, I humbly ask for your support reuniting children in foster care with their siblings for a day of magic at Disneyland.
Did you know that 70% of siblings in foster care are placed separately from each other? In addition to being separated from their parents / primary caregivers, which is devastating enough, most are separated from their siblings as well.
Disneyland has always held a special place in my heart. How grateful I am for the years of annual trips and happy memories with my family. (My favorite part is watching my mom transform into a big kid, eager to transmit the joy she felt from her family trips as a child onto us.)
I'm so honored to have been selected as a volunteer for Foster Love. Our mission is simple: to make a profound impact on foster youth by helping them get to the magical world of Disney. But here's the extra special part: these incredible kids get to spend the day with their siblings!
