Transforming Foster Care Through Collaboration and Community Support

Strengthening The Foster Care Community TOGETHER

We work with thousands of volunteers, social workers, CASA advocates, and other partners to transform the way children experience foster care. Our programs are designed to provide a meaningful, effective way for people who cannot become foster parents to help children in foster care.

Every single donor, volunteer, service activity participant, and partner creates a ripple of change within the community. Without your support, who would step up for the foster youth of America?

How Our Programs Work

Foster Love supports children in foster care and the broader foster community through meaningful, hands-on programs. We provide essential resources, educational scholarships, and ongoing support to foster agencies and caregivers that help children thrive.

Supporters like you can sponsor and participate in our hands-on service activities to ensure that children in foster care receive the love and support they deserve.

Birthday Box
Birthday Boxes

Every child deserves to feel special on their birthday, but for many children in foster care, it passes quietly and without recognition. The Birthday Box program brings celebration to them, making sure every child in foster care feels seen, appreciated, and remembered on their birthday.

STEM Box
STEM Boxes

Children in foster care often miss school due to frequent placement changes, leaving them struggling to keep up with their peers. STEM Boxes are designed to inspire their love of learning with inspiring, hands-on activities that make learning feel fun and engaging again.

Superhero Boxes
Superhero Boxes

Superhero Boxes are designed to help combat the uncertainty, stress, and emotional challenges that children in foster care often experience. Each box is created to uplift children in care, helping them feel S.U.P.E.R.—Self-Assured, Uplifted, Proud, Empowered, and Resilient.

Sweet Cases
Sweet Cases

The Sweet Case program began over a decade ago to combat the trash bags given to children transitioning into foster care so they can move with dignity. Each duffle bag is thoughtfully packed with comfort items like stuffed animals and care items to make the incredibly difficult transition into foster care a little easier.

Direct resources

Only 3% of foster youth graduate from college. Discover how we are combating that statistic by offering educational and emergency services.

Trade Scholarships

The American Industries Scholarships, BrandSource Scholarship, and Veterinary Technology Scholarships support independent living for former foster youth pursuing trades. They support hands-on career pathways by helping students gain the skills, training, and experience needed to build a stable and successful future.

Family Fellowship
The Family Fellowship

The Family Fellowship program supports foster youth across the country by changing the way they are supported throughout their college journey. Along with financial assistance, the program provides ongoing, family-like mentorship to ensure students feel guided and encouraged as they pursue higher education.

Rapid Response
Rapid Response Program

Rapid Response is a safety net program for college students who have experienced the foster care system. By quickly addressing the challenges that may threaten a student’s ability to continue their education, the program helps foster youth stay on track as they pursue their academic and career goals.

Agency Partner
Agency Partner Portal Services

Foster Love partners with agencies from across the U.S. to provide direct services and supplies to children in foster care. Our portal allows agencies to connect with us directly and request items for the children they serve.

Feeding Families
Feeding Families

1 in 6 foster youth report experiencing a time in the past 12 months when they were hungry but did not eat because they could not afford food. Feeding Families helps address this by providing holiday meals to foster families in our community during a time when it’s needed most.

Framing Forever
Framing Forever

32% of the children who are eligible for adoption from foster care stay in the system for 3 years. To celebrate forever families through foster care adoptions, Foster Love offers free family portraits thanks to our network of volunteer photographers.
