Transforming Foster Care Through Collaboration and Community Support

Strengthening The Foster Care Community TOGETHER
We work with thousands of volunteers, social workers, CASA advocates, and other partners to transform the way children experience foster care. Our programs are created to provide a way for people who cannot become foster parents to still have a meaningful and effective way to help children in foster care.
Every single donor, volunteer, service activity participant, and partner creates a ripple of change within the community. Without your support, who would step up for the foster youth of America?
How Our Programs Work
Foster Love provides assistance to children in foster care and the foster community at large. We currently offer diverse services for foster youth through tangible resources, educational scholarships, and supplemental support to foster agencies and foster parents.
Supporters like you sponsor and participate in our hands-on service activities to ensure that children in foster care receive the love and support they deserve.
Birthday Boxes
A Birthday Box is an all inclusive kit that helps children in foster care celebrate their special day. The goal behind the Birthday Box program is to ensure that every child in foster care can feel seen and appreciated on their birthday.
STEM Boxes
Unfortunately, children in foster care are already behind and struggling academically. When a child enters foster care, they may move more than four times in their first year in care. A STEM Box is a kit to help empower and inspire children in foster care while helping reduce education gaps.
Superhero Boxes
Superhero boxes combat the uncertainty and depression children often feel while in foster care. The goal is to help foster youth feel S.U.P.E.R. (Self Assured, Uplifted, Proud, Empowered, & Resilient)!
Sweet Cases
The Sweet Case Duffle Bag program began over a decade ago as a way to ensure that children can move from placement to their forever home with dignity.
Direct resources
Only 3% of foster youth graduate from college. Discover how we are combating that statistic by offering educational and emergency services.
Family Fellowship Scholarship
The Family Fellowship Scholarship serves foster youth across the country by transforming the way they are supported throughout their college journey.
Rapid Response Program
Rapid Response is a safety net program for college students who have experienced the foster care system. This program quickly addresses the challenges threatening a youth’s ability to transition to and through college in pursuit of a career.
The American Industries Scholarship
The American Industries Scholarship provides workforce-enriching opportunities for current and former foster youth enrolling in trade schools or apprentice programs.
Foster Community Support
Current child welfare workers, have an average caseload of between 24 and 31 children. Find out how we support the entire foster care community.
Agency Partner Portal And Services
Foster Love partners with agencies from across the U.S. to provide direct services to children in foster care and their families. Our portal allows agencies to connect with us directly and request items for the children they serve.
Feeding Families
1 in 6 foster youth report experiencing a time in the past 12 months when they were hungry but did not eat because they could not afford food. Feeding Families helps provide holiday meals to foster families in our community.
Framing Forever
32% of the children who are eligible for adoption from foster care stay in the system for 3 years. To celebrate forever families through foster care adoptions, Foster Love offers free family portraits thanks to our network of volunteer photographers.
