One Last Act of Kindness in 2024

Foster youth need your support.

The foster care system plays a crucial role in shaping the future of vulnerable youth. Yet, many foster youth face barriers to success, including challenges in education, employment, and personal stability. By contributing to Foster Love’s End of Year Giving campaign, you are helping provide the support and resources these youth need to thrive, creating a brighter future for them and our communities.

Our Collective Impact

How Does Your Donation Help Foster Youth?

Foster Love’s End of Year Giving campaign supports a wide range of programs that empower foster youth, providing them with the tools they need to succeed. Donations help provide essentials like clothing, meals, and educational resources, giving these youth the foundation they need for a brighter tomorrow.

Leave a Legacy of Support

Your contribution can create a lasting legacy for foster youth. With the right resources—safe housing, education, and support—we can help break the cycle of instability that many foster youth face.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What Is End Of Year Giving?

End-of-year giving is a campaign that many nonprofits participate in to help their cause and remind their supporters of tax incentives they may benefit from.

Where Does Your Donation Go?

Foster Love values every donation that comes in and believes in transparency. Learn where your donation dollars will go here. 100% of every donation goes directly to supporting foster youth.

How Does A Tax-Deductible End Of Year Donation Work?

The tax code for donations to charities has changed this year. Under the pandemic relief program, you can take a deduction of up to $300 for contributions made in 2023, even if you don’t itemize on your income tax return.

Previously, only personal taxes filled with itemized deductions versus using the standard deduction form would qualify for charitable deductions. The new “universal” deduction is taken “above the line” and can reduce your adjusted gross income by up to $300 when you donate the full amount allowed.
