Every Child Deserves a Birthday—Too Many in Foster Care Are Forgotten
Most kids get cake, presents, and birthday songs. For children in foster care, birthdays are often overlooked. Placement changes, sibling separation, and limited resources mean a child’s special day can pass quietly… or sadly, be forgotten entirely.
Birthday Palooza brings back the magic! This year, kids will enjoy a tropical party made just for them alongside their siblings designed to bring back laughter, joy, and memories with family.
What is Birthday Palooza?
Birthday Palooza is Foster Love’s annual celebration for children in foster care who often miss out on birthdays.
Every year, kids look forward to this special event at the Kidspace Children’s Museum in Pasadena, where they can play, laugh, and celebrate alongside their siblings in a day full of joy and memorable moments.
But we can’t make this event happen without you.
Help Us Throw a Party in Paradise!
Every donation creates a celebration for a child who has never had a birthday party before.
With your support, children in foster care can reunite with their siblings at this year’s Birthday Palooza, enjoying a tropical Party in Paradise. They’ll experience gifts, festive decorations, music, dancing, games, photo ops, and( of course) a birthday cake, making each child feel seen, celebrated, and filled with joy on their special day.

Moments That Make Birthdays Magical
The children loved the gifts, the face painting and birthday dancing. They were all talking about their experiences on the way home. I really enjoy that there’s so many volunteers. Sometimes a child needs some one on one attention and with the number of volunteers available it’s easier to give them that attention and make sure they feel seen.
