A Sweet Spring Surprise from Our Spring Volunteers
Spring is all about new beginnings, and our amazing volunteers helped spread that joy in the best way! As part of our Spring volunteer opportunities, 65 volunteers came together to build 200 cheerful goodie bags for kids in need.
Each bag was filled with love and fun—there was a seedling in a decorated pot, some toys to play with, and a little bit of candy to make it sweet. These gifts are heading to children supported by OC DCFS and the East Whittier School District, and we know they’ll bring big smiles.
Bags Full of Kindness
Our volunteers spent the day carefully packing each goodie bag. They made sure every pot was colorful and each seedling had a safe spot to grow. These bags represent the love from each volunteer as a reminder to each child that someone cares about them and their future.
These bunny bags will go to children supported by Orange County’s Department of Children and Family Services (OC DCFS) and students in the East Whittier School District. These programs help many families, and your kindness will make their spring even brighter.
