Thanks for Celebrating a Week of Amazing Trade Scholarship Winners

This week, we shared the inspiring stories of our BrandSource and American Industries Scholarship trade scholarship winners, and we hope you loved learning about their journeys as much as we did. We highlighted Foster Love trade scholarship winners: students from foster care who took brave steps to follow their dreams through trade school. From welding to automotive repair, plumbing to HVAC, and aviation maintenance, each student showed us the power of determination and support. These trades are essential to our communities, and it’s clear that our scholars are already making a big difference.

The American Industries Scholarship program is proudly funded through a partnership between Foster Love and the Milligan Family Foundation. Each student can receive up to $10,000 to cover tuition, tools, and other essential expenses.

In addition, the BrandSource Scholarship program offers up to $12,000 in trade scholarships thanks to our collaboration with AVB BrandSource. This support helps students pursuing careers in automotive, machining, plumbing, construction, carpentry, and many other trades.

With this valuable financial help, students can fully focus on learning their craft, building confidence, and stepping into strong, successful careers.

Our trade scholarship winners prove that with the right support, young people from foster care can achieve great things. Over 85% of our scholars have completed their programs and started careers they are proud of. Their stories remind us why we do this work and why it is so important to invest in their futures.
