Chase Auto Team Building Workshop Provides Bikes and Skateboards for Foster Kids
Chase Auto joined us for another impactful team building event last month where 54 of their employees came together to build bikes and skateboards for foster youth. In the spirit of a Chase Auto team building workshop, their team showed amazing teamwork and spirit marking their 16th team building event with us since 2021! These gatherings have consistently provided a fantastic opportunity for their team to bond while making a real difference in the lives of children in foster care.
A Successful Impact
As part of every team building event, Foster Love talks about the importance of supporting children in the foster care system and how the volunteers’ work will help these children overcome the challenges they face. By sharing personal stories, statistics, and facts, we hope to connect the volunteers on a deeper level and to see this as more than a fun activity, but also as one that will change lives. This connection also inspires volunteers to continue to take action and continue advocating for and assisting foster youth long after they leave.Â
At this team building event, one volunteer may have found even more reasons to consider fostering.
A Memorable Conversation About Foster Parenting
One participant shared that she and her husband were considering becoming foster parents. The conversation was heartfelt, and it was clear that the event had inspired her to take the next step. Hearing stories like this makes it evident how impactful these gatherings can be. It’s not just about building bikes and skateboards for kids; it’s about creating lasting connections and encouraging people to get involved in foster care beyond a one-day workshop.
Discussions like these often lead volunteers to exploring various ways to contribute, whether through direct involvement or by sharing their newfound knowledge with their friends and family. This ripple effect is invaluable, as it helps raise awareness about the foster care system and the needs of children within it.
Building a Brighter Future Together
At Foster Love, we recognize that team building events like the one with Chase Auto are more than just opportunities for companies to give back; they are platforms for sparking change. Each bike and skateboard built represents not only a gift to a child in need but also a commitment from the volunteers to continue supporting the cause. It is also a way to unite team members for a larger purpose, which helps create new bonds and reasons to feel closer as a team.
As we look forward to future collaborations, we are excited to see how the enthusiasm and compassion shown by the Chase Auto team will inspire other groups to get involved.Â
Together, we can create a community that supports foster youth and provides them with the love and resources they need to thrive. Our team building events with Chase Auto exemplify how corporate responsibility and community involvement can intersect to create lasting change, one bike and skateboard at a time.Â
