Corey Heim’s Drive for Foster Care Awareness Continues at Charlotte Motor Speedway
On May 24th, Corey Heim’s NASCAR race at the NC Education Lottery 200 continued to bring purpose to the foster care community, driving his bright blue No. 11 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro in support of National Foster Care Awareness Month.
With every lap, Corey carried Foster Love’s message of hope and support for children in foster care, proving once again that NASCAR can be a platform for change and that Corey Heim’s foster care awareness efforts are making an impact beyond the track.
The Results
Just like in his May 4th win at Texas Motor Speedway, Corey raced for a larger purpose. The Foster Love logo on his truck reminded fans everywhere that thousands of children go unseen every day, but they don’t have to.
As Corey crossed the finish line in Charlotte, his mission stayed clear: use his voice, his platform, and his performance to lift up youth in foster care. Every lap helped raise awareness and bring more people into the conversation. And Corey didn’t cross that finish line alone.
Stay tuned tomorrow, May 30th for the final NASCAR event in Nashville!
Bringing 40 Kids to Cheer Corey on In His Hometown
Joining Corey at the finish line were 40 foster youth and their families, ready to experience the excitement of race day in NASCAR’s hometown. One family shared: “We are so thankful for Foster Love and Safelite. The races were one for the books, and amazing is an understatement. We were treated like royalty, and the kids had a blast.”
Also cheering Corey on were Peter Mutabazi aka Foster Dad Flipper and his daughter. He said: “This was our first time here and wow, the community is amazing! The campers, the environment, it was so full of love and joy…we were so grateful to witness the win of Corey.”
Fueled by a Mission Beyond the Track
This campaign, made possible through the partnership between Foster Love, the Safelite Foundation, and TRICON Garage, shows how racing can raise awareness in a big way. The message? Every child in foster care deserves to be seen, supported, and celebrated. That’s exactly what Corey Heim’s foster care awareness efforts aim to achieve one race, one finish line, and one child at a time.
Thank you to Corey Heim, Safelite Foundation, Toyota, and TRICON Garage for continuing to race for foster youth. Every lap makes a difference, and every finish brings us one step closer to a world where every child in foster care feels supported and seen.
