Diaper Donations to Foster Love Support Babies, Caregivers, and Families in Foster Care
Every year, community partners deliver diaper donations to Foster Love as a meaningful way to provide support to foster families, foster parents, and caregivers caring for babies and young children in foster care. Many foster parents welcome children into their homes with little notice, often during sudden placements or emergency arrivals. Having access to diapers, wipes, and other baby essentials helps ensure that children experience comfort, care, and stability during an already difficult transition.
Each year, Foster Love distributes diapers or pull-ups to an average of 250 kids, providing support on a continuous monthly basis, but we are on a mission to assist even more in 2026.
HELP US REACH OUR GOAL!
Partners Donating Much-Needed Necessities
Foster Love works with Community Action Partnership of Orange County (CAPOC), which provides our monthly diaper deliveries. This partnership plays a critical role in meeting ongoing needs. However, other essential items—such as formula, baby equipment, baby gear, and hygiene products—depend heavily on public donations. These items are often hit or miss, making community involvement especially important.
Items Needed to Support Foster Care
Diapers and wipes remain among the most critical needs for babies. Clothing, shoes, socks, and age-appropriate items like toys, books, underwear, and sanitary items for kids and youth are also consistently needed. Toys and books provide comfort and familiarity, while baby equipment like strollers, cribs, and high chairs help caregivers meet daily needs at home.

Foster Love also distributes Sweet Case duffles so children do not have to carry their belongings in trash bags during placement moves. These thoughtful details address dignity and help children feel seen and valued.

Supporting Foster Families Through Community Action
Community support is essential to creating a strong safety net for foster families, caregivers, and children. By donating items like diapers, clothes, toys, books, and baby gear, CAPOC and people from the community help provide comfort and stability to kids who may have experienced trauma. These donations support children during moments of transition and help families focus on healing, connection, and care.
Volunteers are a vital part of this journey. From sorting bags of donated items to preparing supplies for pick-up and distribution, volunteers help ensure that every donation is used effectively. Their involvement encourages a culture of service and compassion, reinforcing Foster Love’s mission to empower children and families through tangible support.

Making an Impact Through Donating
