We Donated Over 2,400 Thanksgiving Meals to Families in Need!

As you prepare to enjoy Thanksgiving dinner with your family tomorrow, we ask that you take a moment to remember the families in need in your community—especially children in foster care who may not always have the resources to enjoy a holiday meal. Their need is what inspired Feeding Families. Every child deserves the joy of a Thanksgiving meal every year, and thanks to sponsors, volunteers, and donors like you, were were able to donate Thanksgiving meals to over 2,400 families in SoCal.

Over 2,400 complete meals were prepared, packed, and delivered, each including turkey, mashed potatoes, and all the trimmings, ensuring families in need are able to gather around the table for a warm meal full of joy and hope.

Through Foster Love’s Feeding Families program, over 2,400 Thanksgiving meals were prepared, packed, and delivered directly to families in need. Each food box was designed to ensure children in foster care and their families could enjoy a holiday meal together, creating memories, traditions, and the warmth of a shared table during the holidays. 

Warm Meals, Warmer Hearts

This year, local businesses, churches, and community groups joined us to assemble and pack holiday meals, demonstrating how food donations, volunteer hours, and cash donations come together to make a meaningful impact. By providing Thanksgiving meals, we help families fill their tables without worry, offering warm meals that remind children and parents alike that they are part of a caring community.

A Thanksgiving meal is more than food—it is a gift of connection, stability, and joy. When we all serve the community, we are better for it, strengthening our neighborhoods, creating shared traditions, and leaving lasting memories for families who rely on our support.
