Kids 4 Kids Volunteer Event Brings Young Hearts Together
The Kids 4 Kids volunteer event was a morning filled with fun, kindness, and community spirit. Held at Foster Love HQ, the event brought together young volunteers who showed that you’re never too young to make a difference.
This event marked the official launch of the Foster Love 4 Kids Club, which encourages children to grow into compassionate leaders by giving back to foster youth in meaningful ways.
With donuts and bagels fueling their work, kids dove into hands-on activities designed to brighten the lives of children in foster care. They put together skateboards, giving foster youth a reliable and fun way to get around, and Sweet Cases: duffle bags that give kids in foster care a sense of dignity—no more trash bags for their belongings! The kids also decorated Superhero Boxes, complete with a cape, mask, and fun items to remind foster youth just how powerful and special they are.
Helping Others Has No Age Limit
Each child left the Kids 4 Kids volunteer event with a heart full of pride, but more importantly, they walked away with a new perspective. They saw firsthand that helping others doesn’t depend on age—it just takes heart. Parents were moved by the energy and kindness in the room. It was a beautiful sight: kids helping kids, with joy, love, and purpose.
This is the beginning of something big!
With the launch of the Foster Love 4 Kids Club, this event sets the stage for a generation of children who care deeply and act boldly. Through kindness and action, these young volunteers are already making the world a better place—one skateboard, Sweet Case, and Superhero Box at a time.
