Fifteen girls. Racks of new clothes. One magical day filled with fashion, friendship, and lots of pizza. This weekend, we turned up the music and opened the doors to our Rise Boutique at Foster Love HQ for pizza and a Shopping Spree that dreams are made of. Designed especially for teens in foster care, The Rise Boutique isn’t your average storefront—it’s a place where confidence is tried on, shown off, and taken home.
We watched with enthusiasm as each girl found their vibe. Cute tops? Check. Comfy jeans? Double check. Confidence boost? Off the charts. As the music played and shopping bags filled up, the laughter and chatter were nonstop. The space was buzzing with the kind of excitement that comes from feeling seen and celebrated.
And then… it was pizza time.
Three hot cheese and three pepperoni pizzas arrived like the heroes they are. Girls grabbed slices, swapped outfit opinions, and shared smiles around the table. It felt like a giant girls’ day out—only better, because everyone left with new clothes and full hearts.
One girl said it best: “This is a once in a lifetime experience.”
