Progressive’s Team Building Event at Foster Love HQ

Progressive has been team building with Foster Love since 2021, consistently participating in many different group building activities. Most recently, 24 participants recently engaged in group building activities with Progressive at Foster Love HQ in Brea for an impactful day of service.

This day focused on assembling 12 bikes and decorating 24 Sweet Cases—duffle bags filled with comfort items for children in foster care. These group building activities with Progressive not only fostered team spirit but also directly contributed to Foster Love’s mission of ensuring no child is forgotten in the foster care system and these group building activities with Progressive serve as a powerful example of how service projects create a lasting impact.

Building Bikes, Creating Smiles

The team got to work building brand-new bikes, which will be gifted to children in foster care. For many of these kids, receiving a bike is a moment of joy and freedom—an opportunity to experience the simple pleasure of riding in their neighborhood or to school. Every bike would bring big smiles to foster youth, and the team was inspired by their dedication as they worked together.

Decorating Sweet Cases with Care

In addition to building bikes, the Progressive team also assembled and decorated 24 Sweet Cases. These personalized duffle bags are filled with essentials like hygiene items, blankets, and stuffed animals, giving children in foster care something special to call their own. Instead of being handed a trash bag for their belongings, these kids will now have a decorated Sweet Case that shows someone cares. Progressive’s team added thoughtful touches and vibrant decorations, making each Sweet Case unique and personal.

Learning About Foster Love’s Mission

During their time at Foster Love’s headquarters, Progressive employees were given a tour of the facilities and learned about the mission of Foster Love. They were able to see firsthand the impact of their efforts and how their contributions fit into a larger movement to support children in foster care.

During the tour, Progressive employees gained a deeper understanding of how their contributions align with the organization’s mission to ensure that no child is forgotten in the foster care system. Foster Love works tirelessly to provide foster children with resources that bring comfort, normalcy, and dignity, such as Sweet Cases and bikes, which symbolize hope and a brighter future. Through these group building activities with Progressive, the impact of this mission becomes even more profound.

A History of Amazing Teamwork

Progressive has been working with Foster Love since 2021, participating in a variety of both in-person and virtual service projects. From bike-building events to back-to-school initiatives, Progressive’s team building activities continue to have a direct impact on the lives of foster youth. We are incredibly grateful for their commitment and support, as it strengthens our ability to provide resources and hope to children in need.

This event not only helped foster children but also allowed Progressive employees to bond and grow as a team, creating lasting memories through their service. Group building activities with Progressive continue to play a crucial role in our mission to brighten the lives of foster youth, and we look forward to more collaborations in the future.
