It’s Time—Our Annual Socktober Bombas Partnership is BACK!
You know it! Socktober returns this year with our month-long initiative to make sure children in foster care have something simple, yet essential: socks. While there are many things on the donation lists at shelters, socks are the least donated necessity. That’s why this year, our Socktober Bombas initiative is back again.
DONATE TO FOSTER LOVE’S SOCKTOBER
The goal of Socktober is to provide warmth and comfort to communities that have limited access to basic necessities. While Socktober was founded to help those facing homelessness, we aid foster youth who are 3-4 times more likely to experience homelessness than those without a history in foster care.
Socks provide warmth and comfort, but for kids in foster care, who often only own the clothes on their backs, they’re a message that says “Someone cares.” All it takes is $3 from people like you to help make that possible.
A Simple Way to Create Change

This is a community effort that brings together teams, families, and neighbors. With your help, we can reach our goal of shipping 57,500 pairs of socks directly to children in foster care this October, proving that one small act can make a big difference.
