Southern Glazer’s Exceptional Leaders Build Bikes and Bonds
Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits recently brought leaders from across the country together in Miami Gardens, Florida, for a bike build team building event. Held as part of their Exceptional Leaders Program, this activity encouraged teamwork, bonding, and fun while supporting a local nonprofit organization dedicated to helping children in need.
Leadership in Action
The event was designed to strengthen connections among Southern Glazer’s leadership team while making a meaningful difference. Participants worked together to build bikes, turning the activity into a hands-on lesson in collaboration and communication. This unique leadership event helped build relationships and taught participants how teamwork can create something impactful.
Supporting the Community
CFCE’s mission is “helping children and families help themselves to live a better life and build a stronger community.” By receiving the bikes, these children gain more than just a way to get around—they receive the gift of independence, joy, and the knowledge that people care about their well-being.
Why Bike Builds Work
Activities like the bike build team building event provide a fun and memorable way to strengthen leadership skills while giving back. Leaders worked side by side to solve challenges, communicate effectively, and create something tangible for children in need. It’s the perfect blend of team bonding and making an impact.
Southern Glazer’s leaders left the event not only with stronger connections but also with the satisfaction of knowing they made a difference. By supporting CFCE, they helped bring smiles and hope to local children while reinforcing the company’s commitment to community and compassion.
