Summer Fun Kits Bring Joy to Kids in Foster Care
Last weekend, our amazing volunteers helped pack and deliver summer fun kits for children in foster care. These special kits included everything a kid needs for summer adventures—a beach towel, Pokémon cards, toys, push pop fidget toys, drink cozies, and more. Each kit came in a bag that’s perfect for taking outdoors and enjoying the sunshine.
Kids in foster care often face tough situations that make it hard to enjoy simple joys. That’s why these summer fun kits are so important. They remind children that they are cared for and deserve to experience fun just like any other kid. A push pop toy, a card game, or a new towel might seem small, but to a child who has lost so much, it can mean everything.
Summer is about play, laughter, and freedom. Whether it’s relaxing at the park or playing outside with friends, every child deserves a chance to make happy memories. Thanks to our volunteers, more foster youth will have a summer filled with smiles and fun.
