TD Bank’s Team Building Service Projects Supports New Jersey Kids and Families
At TD Bank’s U.S. Marketing Spring Town Hall event in New Jersey, over 250 of their employees came together for special team building service projects that made a real difference for youth in foster care.
As part of their commitment to bringing “the human side” to banking, TD employees built and packed items to help children and families supported by Oaks Integrated Care.
What They Built
In just one day, this energetic group built:
- 20 Bikes – Each gives a child the chance to enjoy play, independence, and movement.
- 20 Skateboards – Build-a-Board offers fun, a boost in confidence, and coordination.
40 Birthday Boxes – Filled with party supplies, these make sure every child gets to feel celebrated on their special day. - 40 Superhero Boxes – Packed with capes, masks, and fun activities, these boxes remind kids that they are strong and brave, even during tough times.
- 40 Sweet Cases – These decorated duffel bags come with comfort items for kids in foster care, giving them dignity when moving between homes.
Supporting a Local Partner
All the items went to Oaks Integrated Care, a nonprofit that helps people with mental health challenges, addiction, and developmental disabilities. They serve a community of over 34,000 each year. They believe that by treating both mind and body, people grow stronger and healthier.
TD Bank’s Community Mission
These team building service projects with Foster Love are just one of the many ways TD Bank lives out its values. The company believes that people matter most. They show this by giving back and encouraging employees to volunteer year-round. Through their Ready Commitment, TD helps causes that matter to their workers and supports programs across North America, from planting trees to helping children in need.
Why Team Building Service Projects Matter
This was more than a work event. It was a powerful example of how team building service projects can bring coworkers together while helping the community. For TD Bank, it showed their values in action—working hard, caring deeply, and doing good.
And for Oaks Integrated Care and the families they serve, the impact is lasting. Bikes, skateboards, and care packages might seem small—but to a child in need, they are reminders that someone out there cares.
