Corporate and Social Responsibility- Hulugan Style
Hulu promotes huge internal initiatives for diversity, health, and sustainability. They have extended their woke-ness to several efforts including making their platform accessible to the visually impaired. With a firm belief that creating a positive corporate culture fosters an environment for creative growth. Needless to say, we couldn’t wait to meet the team!
Team Building At Work- A Seriously Fun Affair
For the Hulu team building event, we were invited to their base in San Antonio. Hulu used an outside vendor to coordinate the initial details and we sent our Austin team to help facilitate the event. The Hulu office is amazing, btw. We can see why their team loves going to work everyday .
The team build focused on our new Superhero box program and skateboards. Each project was set up for teams and individuals to work on at the same time. The layout allowed everyone to work together effectively and quickly. Their team building spirit especially showed when they were putting together the skateboards!
Viewer Experience Advocate, Dakota had this to say about the experience, “Almost a year ago, a part-time gig Hulu changed my life in ways I never would have imagined. Today I got to pay it forward. This year Hulu partnered with Foster Love – Together We Rise to build over 150 skateboards and even more Superhero Boxes for displaced kids right here in town. I can’t wait to do it again.”
Never Wanna Say Good-Bye
We had such a fun time with the Hulu team, we never wanted to say good-bye. Together the Hulugans assembled 250 Superhero Boxes and 125 skateboards for local kids in foster care. We cannot thank the team enough for bringing their kindness and love for the community to the forefront of this event.
