Through meaningful hands-on projects like assembling Sweet Cases or building bicycles, CarMax teams help show foster youth that they are loved and valued. These efforts not only provide essential items but also inspire confidence and joy, reminding foster children that they have a community rooting for their success.

How To Order A Service Activity
- Secure approval from your location manager.
- Ensure you have at least 5 volunteers
- Complete a Volunteer Team-Builder application through The CarMax Foundation Associate Giving Portal at least 2 weeks prior to the event
- Ensure volunteer events take place in non-customer facing areas
- Associates should not engage in volunteer events while clocked in
- VTB events typically results in a VTB grant and therefore are not eligible for Matching Hours support
