Capital One Holiday Volunteer Team Building Events Spread Joy

The holiday spirit was alive and well as virtual teams across many Capital One branches joined Foster Love for a series of events, bringing together employees to support foster youth during the festive season. These Capital One holiday volunteer team building events brought together employees for impactful virtual events that made a real difference for foster youth in the community.

Through these activities, Capital One showcased its commitment to creating meaningful connections and giving back to the community. The events highlighted the power of teamwork and creativity.

Capital One Holiday Volunteer Team Building Helps Assemble Gifts for Foster Youth

Thanks to these three events with Capital One, dozens of children in foster care will feel supported and cherished during the holiday season. The events not only strengthened the bond among Capital One employees but also reinforced the company’s dedication to creating positive change.

Building Superhero Boxes

For the first team build, participants came together to assemble 85 Superhero Boxes. These vibrant and empowering packages included custom-decorated pillowcases, capes, and other items designed to bring joy and confidence to children in foster care.

The team enjoyed personalizing each box, hoping to inspire foster kids to feel like the heroes they truly are. This activity not only provided a creative outlet for volunteers but also demonstrated the impact of coming together for a shared purpose.

Holiday Foster Love Boxes

In another virtual room, 30 Capital One volunteers worked diligently to assemble their Holiday Foster Love Boxes. These special packages were filled with essentials and treats designed to bring comfort and joy during the holidays. Included were Sweet Case duffle bags, comfort items, and holiday stockings stuffed with gift cards and handmade cards.

Volunteers embraced the challenge of making each box unique, ensuring that every child felt the warmth of the holiday season, which is oftentimes the hardest part of the year for these children. The activity sparked conversations about those challenges foster youth face during this time of year, creating a meaningful and heartfelt experience for everyone involved.

Assembling Holiday Stockings

The final group of participants focused on assembling individual holiday stockings. These stockings were carefully packed with gifts and handwritten messages to spread holiday cheer. Volunteers added personal touches, such as festive designs and thoughtful notes, making each stocking a symbol of love and care. This activity tied perfectly into the overarching theme of giving back, reminding everyone that even small gestures can have a profound impact.

Unified Effort Across Branches

The unique aspect of this day was the seamless coordination between three separate branches, each hosting a different event simultaneously. The collaborative spirit and dedication of Capital One employees were evident in every detail. Despite being virtual, the energy and enthusiasm transcended screens, showcasing the effectiveness of Capital One holiday volunteer team building.

A Bright Future for Foster Youth

As Capital One looks ahead, their continued commitment to volunteerism ensures that their impact will resonate far beyond the holidays, inspiring others to follow their example.
