At Foster Love, we’ve been fortunate to work with hundreds of amazing volunteers who dedicate their time and talents to creating real change for children in foster care. Whether you’re based in Southern California or looking for a way to give back from across the country, there are so many ways to get involved.

Our volunteers have helped in countless creative and meaningful ways. Local groups have gathered at our headquarters to assemble Baby Bundles filled with essentials for newborns entering foster care. In the spring, volunteers packed cheerful goodie bags with Easter candy, small toys, and even seeds to help kids plant something of their own. Others have sorted clothing donations and assisted teens shopping for new outfits at our Rise Boutique, a space designed to empower foster youth with confidence and dignity.
Thanks to online donors and helping hands, we’ve packed Sweet Cases—colorful duffle bags filled with comfort items for kids moving between homes. Volunteers have also put together thoughtful care kits for families impacted by California wildfires, and shipped college care packages full of food gift cards, cozy socks, self-care items, and words of encouragement for former foster youth navigating life on their own.

Our holiday projects are especially close to our hearts. From decorating handmade cards for birthdays and celebrations, to stuffing stockings with holiday cheer, every act of kindness brings a little more love into the lives of children and teens who need it most.
