Progressive’s Virtual Service Event Delivers 590 Superhero Boxes

Progressive has always been a leader in fostering a sense of community and giving back, and one of their most recent large group team building activities with Foster Love proved to be another shining example of their commitment to making a positive impact.

With more than 300 employees participating, this virtual service activity brought together Progressive’s dedicated team members for an engaging, meaningful cause—assembling over 590 Superhero Boxes for foster youth!

A Virtual Team Building Event with a Powerful Impact

The goal of the virtual event was simple but powerful: to make foster youth feel like the super-powered heroes they are by assembling Superhero Boxes filled with supplies to empower and uplift. These kits included items like capes, masks, and other themed accessories to help these children tap into their inner superheroes.

While virtual, the event was just as impactful as any in-person gathering, with participants from all across the country logging in to connect, collaborate, and create.

Progressive employees, many of whom had participated in previous virtual events such as assembling Birthday Box kits, Sweet Cases, STEM kits, and in-person team building activities like Bike Building and decorating Birthday Boxes, were enthusiastic about yet another chance to give back.

The Power of Large Group Team Building Activities

The virtual format allowed employees to feel connected and involved, even though they were miles apart. The event was facilitated with detailed instructions, making it easy for each participant to follow along from their own homes. The spirit of collaboration and generosity was contagious, ensuring that every kit was made with care and excitement.

The success of Progressive’s virtual Superhero Box assembly was largely due to the energy and enthusiasm of its participants. Over 300 employees—divided into teams—worked together to assemble kits with precision and care.

The coordination involved in a virtual setting, especially for large group team building activities, is no small feat. But Progressive’s team made it look effortless. By working together, teams were able to assemble over 590 Superhero Boxes—a significant accomplishment that would have a lasting impact on the lives of many foster youth across the country.

Looking Forward to More Virtual Service Activities

Progressive’s employees are committed to continuing their involvement with Foster Love’s mission. As one of the company’s most popular activities, the virtual Superhero Box assembly event has demonstrated that no matter where they are located, employees can still come together to support a great cause.

Looking ahead, Progressive is eager to continue this tradition of virtual service activities while also exploring participating in more large group team building activities.  Foster Love looks forward to continuing their partnership with Progressive, as more opportunities arise to empower children in foster care and create lasting change.

From assembling Superhero Boxes to contributing to bike building projects, there’s no limit to what Progressive can achieve when it comes to supporting foster youth and strengthening their community.

Through the power of large group team building activities, companies like Progressive are making a meaningful impact on the lives of children in foster care. Each Superhero Box assembled, every bike built, and each Birthday Box packed is a small step towards creating brighter futures for those in need.
